Today was one of the scariest days we’ve had as parents. What started as a normal family afternoon quickly turned into a moment we’ll never forget. Our daughter was playing outside, full of energy and laughter, when suddenly everything changed. She tripped and fell, landing hard on her arm. At first, we thought it was just a small scrape, but when we saw the tears in her eyes and the way she was holding her arm, we knew something was wrong.

The moment felt like it lasted forever. D rushed to pick her up while Z tried to calm her down. As parents, nothing hurts more than seeing your child in pain. We quickly got her into the car and headed straight to the hospital. Every second felt so long—we kept talking to her, reassuring her that everything would be okay.

At the hospital, the doctors and nurses were amazing. They examined her carefully, ran some tests, and gave her the care she needed. Hearing the doctor say she had a minor fracture broke our hearts, but at the same time, we were so grateful it wasn’t worse. Watching her bravely go through treatment made us realize how strong our little girl really is.

Now, she has her arm wrapped in a cast and is already smiling again, showing her playful spirit. We’re thankful for all the love, support, and prayers from our D&Z Family community. This experience reminded us just how precious every moment with our children is. Hug your kids a little tighter today—you never know what tomorrow may bring.
